Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing litigation-focused law firm in San Diego to hire an experienced Litigation Paralegal. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters and support attorneys across all phases of case management.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in litigation, strong organizational and writing skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and case management.
• Experience handling discovery and subpoenas.
• Exceptional organizational, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with attorneys and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial preparation.
• Draft and manage written discovery, document productions, and litigation correspondence.
• Prepare chronologies, factual summaries, and case-related reports.
• Conduct document review and assist with e-discovery projects.
• Coordinate subpoenas, records collection, witness files, and deposition preparation.
• Organize and maintain case files, exhibits, and litigation databases.
• Support mediation, arbitration, and trial preparation efforts.
• Track billable and non-billable time accurately and maintain confidentiality.
