Job summary

Kirkland & Ellis in Los Angeles seeks an experienced litigation paralegal to support complex matters, discovery, and trial preparation. You will coordinate document collection and review, manage filings and cite checking, operate with Relativity, TextMap, and other tools, and collaborate across case teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree (paralegal certification preferred) and, for CA candidates, meets California paralegal requirements.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience supporting complex matters, discovery, and trial prep.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Relativity and document management systems.
• Experience using TextMap, Westlaw, e-filing systems and PacerPro.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate collection, organization, review, and production of documents and electronic data.
• Prepare and file briefs and routine legal documents, exhibits and appendices.
• Conduct legal and factual cite checking and venue-specific research.
• Support hearings and trials, organize exhibits, and manage transcripts.
• Leverage litigation support tools to manage review workflows and electronic filings.
• Collaborate with attorneys, litigation support teams, clients, experts, and court personnel.
• Lead or supervise junior paralegals and teams where appropriate.
