• Active member in good standing of the Virginia State Bar.
• Four years of experience as a practicing attorney.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and represent County agencies in employment law matters and civil defense litigation.
• Represent County agencies in employee grievances and before the Fairfax County Civil Service Commission.
• Manage cases from inception to completion including discovery, depositions, motions and briefs.
• Provide legal advice to County agencies and analyze proposed policies and legislation.
