  • Title: Senior Litigation Counsel

  • Compensation: $304,000–$342,000 base + equity + benefits
  • Reports to: VP & Deputy General Counsel, Litigation & Regulatory Compliance
  • Status: Full-time (contract classified, but likely long-term/permanent in scope)
  • Dispute & Litigation Strategy:
  • Lead and manage litigation, regulatory investigations, and pre-litigation disputes across a variety of topics.
  • Outside Counsel Management:
  • Supervise firms handling complex litigation or sensitive investigations.
  • Process & Risk:
  • Build eDiscovery systems, assess litigation risk, and advise on emerging areas of platform liability.
  • Cross-Functional Work:
  • Collaborate across Legal, Trust & Safety, Product, Policy, and Engineering to reduce dispute risk and respond to issues early.
  • Regulatory Insight:
  • Monitor and interpret evolving global and domestic litigation trends affecting digital platforms.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
  • JD + Bar Admission:
  • U.S.-licensed attorney in good standing (jurisdiction not specified).
  • Experience:
  • 10+ years at top law firms and/or in-house legal departments.
  • Direct litigation experience in areas such as:
  • Section 230, DMCA, online safety, privacy, consumer protection
  • Commercial disputes, IP (trademark/copyright/patents) also valued.

  • Litigation involving global jurisdictions: EU, UK, Brazil, Israel
  • eDiscovery for multimedia messaging apps (voice, text, video)
