Job summary

Axiom in NYC is seeking a Senior Litigation Counsel to support a major fashion/lifestyle client, guiding litigation strategy, advising stakeholders on exposure and risk, and overseeing outside counsel and key litigation processes.

You will draft pleadings, manage discovery and eDiscovery, lead preservation efforts, and work with the Legal Department on policy development, internal investigations, and cross-functional initiatives to advance practical, business-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant litigation experience across regulatory, employment, IP and personal injury matters.
• Experience overseeing outside counsel and managing budgets.
• Experience advising stakeholders on litigation exposure and risk.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation across regulatory, employment and wage-and-hour, commercial, intellectual property and brand protection, privacy/TCPA, and personal injury matters.
• Partner with and oversee outside counsel, ensuring strategy, budgets, and approaches align with business priorities.
• Advise business stakeholders on litigation exposure, risk, resolution strategies, and practical risk mitigation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, administrative submissions, settlement agreements, releases, arbitration agreements, waivers, and related documents.
• Lead litigation processes, including preservation obligations, litigation holds, eDiscovery collection, review, and production.
• Support Legal Department leadership on policy development, internal investigations, special initiatives, cross-functional projects, and relevant legal and industry developments.
