The role involves leading complex matters for high-net-worth clients, mentoring junior lawyers, and helping shape firm strategy across Spokane, the Tri-Cities, and Seattle.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years practicing law, 5+ years in estate planning and trust administration, and is licensed in Washington.

Qualifications

• 7+ years practicing law in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 5+ years focused on estate planning and trust administration.
• Licensed in Washington State.
• Strong drafting and client relationship skills.
• Experience with complex estate structures and taxable estates (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Help build a litigation practice area focused on probate, trust, and estate disputes.
• Advise clients on trust administration, probate, elder law, Medicaid planning, and wealth preservation.
• Mentor junior attorneys and support team development.
• Build and maintain strong client and referral relationships.
• Participate in succession planning and future ownership discussions.

This role is for an experienced attorney who wants more than a caseload: someone ready to mentor others, help shape firm strategy, and add to a collaborative, growth-minded culture.

The Opportunity

• Lead sophisticated estate planning matters for high-net-worth individuals and families
• Help build a litigation practice area, focused on probate, trust, and estate disputes
• Advise clients on trust administration, probate, elder law, Medicaid planning, and wealth preservation
• Mentor junior attorneys and support the team's development
• Build and maintain strong client and referral relationships
• Step into future partnership and ownership as part of the firm's succession planning

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years practicing law
• 5+ years focused on estate planning and trust administration
• Licensed in Washington State
• Strong drafting and client relationship skills
• Experience with complex estate structures and taxable estates (preferred)

Added experience in probate litigation, TEDRA matters, elder law, business law, or real estate law is a strong plus.
