Job summary

gpac represents a growing Milwaukee real estate law firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney for its active litigation group. You will handle real property matters such as enforcement of property restrictions, contract disputes, and construction defects.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of relevant litigation experience, Wisconsin admission, and comfort with public speaking and client contact. Excellent communication and a strong work ethic are required to manage a diverse caseload.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver pleadings, motions, and hearings; oversee discovery and trial preparation.

A growing, well-established real estate law firm in Milwaukee is seeking an experienced litigation attorney to join its dynamic and engaging litigation group. The successful candidate will regularly handle a wide variety of matters, including:

• Enforcement of property restrictions
• Contract disputes
• Construction defects
• Other real property litigation issues

Application Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in Wisconsin
• 5+ years of relevant litigation experience in real estate, corporate, or contract law, or in representing governmental organizations in civil litigation matters
• Demonstrated dedication and strong work ethic in prior roles
• Proficiency with Microsoft operating systems and other professional software
• Availability during standard business hours, as well as some evenings and weekends for client meetings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to manage a high project load and administrative staff
• In-depth knowledge and ability to independently manage a diverse caseload (assigned or personally originated)
• Experience chairing client and corporate meetings
• Strong organizational skills, including managing electronic task lists and billing

• Proficiency across all phases of litigation, including:
