Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior litigation professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in civil litigation and dispute resolution contexts. The workflows are calibrated to case complexity, evidentiary stakes, and procedural scope of major commercial litigation and complex disputes.

This role spans two tracks: a US track (FRCP, FRE, and state analogs) and an International track (CPR, ICC, LCIA). Experts qualified in either or both tracks are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience, preferably at a major firm or corporate legal department.
• Direct ownership of complex commercial matters with trial/arbitration exposure.
• Strong understanding of court procedures, discovery, and evidentiary rules.

Responsibilities

• Construct litigation scenarios across pre-trial discovery, motions, trial strategy, and settlement/arbitration.
• Build tasks across commercial, complex and class action litigation, discovery and evidence management, trial advocacy, and appellate practice.
• Develop scenarios involving e-discovery tools and deposition/trial preparation software used on major matters.
• Apply litigation methodologies to FRCP, FRE, and CPR standards across US and International tracks; produce reference pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and memoranda.
• Author rubrics that distinguish authentic litigation judgment from generic exam-level recall.
