Qualifications

• Strong foundation in early literacy instruction, policy, and systems leadership.
• Experience implementing science of reading in classroom instruction with structured literacy approaches.
• Experience designing and delivering professional development or instructional coaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation of Indiana's Priorities for Early Literacy aligned to science of reading.
• Develop instructional guidance, PD, and technical assistance for PK-5 classrooms.
• Analyze literacy data and trends to inform policy and program design.
• Coordinate with State Board, Legislature, and local education agencies.
• Serve as a resource on literacy guidance across departments.
• Maintain relationships with national and state literacy organizations.
