Trade Republic, based in Berlin, invites a qualified candidate to lead the bank-wide ILAAP framework and oversee daily liquidity risk. You will collaborate with product teams and treasury, validating models and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Relocation support is provided for this role. Ideal candidates bring a Master’s degree and strong programming skills, with extensive experience in ERM, risk quantification, and familiarity with EU regulatory requirements.

Competenze

Master’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Physics or similar with quantitative background.
Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Strong knowledge of risk management techniques and risk quantification (market and credit).
Advanced programming skills (Python, R, C++, Java) with experience in databases (SQL).

Mansioni

Take charge of the bank-wide ILAAP framework including governance, quantification methods, ILAAP stress testing and reporting.
Act as key counterpart for product teams and treasury on liquidity matters.
Analyze and monitor liquidity risk daily and provide insights to Management.
Review and update guidelines to ensure compliance with internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements.
Provide ongoing and ad hoc reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Plan and conduct regular and ad-hoc validations of liquidity risk models.
Engage with model owners and business/development experts to challenge liquidity positions and address model deficiencies.
Deliver model validation analysis and reports for senior management and committees.
