Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation seeks a Senior Systems Administrator in the Dahlgren, VA area to oversee UNIX/Linux/Windows system administration and security updates. You will install and maintain servers, manage backups, perform testing, and create SOPs while coordinating with support personnel to ensure secure, reliable IT operations.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of system administration experience.
• Must have a DoD Secret security clearance and be able to obtain SSBI.
• IAT Level 2 certification required per DoD 8140.01; IA and OS certs.
• IAT Level 2 certification life-long requirement for DoD contract.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain operating systems.
• Manage fixes, updates and enhancements; conduct testing and performance optimization.
• Provide end-user support and troubleshooting.
• Manage accounts, access rights, backups, and system configuration.
• Create and maintain SOPs and documentation.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Research new technologies; support future system purchases.
