Job summary

CACI is seeking a hands-on Linux Systems Administrator III to join our Infrastructure Team supporting EW systems. You will manage end-to-end Linux environments, build servers, VMs, and production systems, using Red Hat and Ubuntu.

The role spans virtualization, containerization, networking, and cybersecurity, with an emphasis on reliability and security. The position requires a Top Secret clearance, 5+ years of Linux experience, and proficiency with Proxmox/VMware, Ansible, Puppet,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS/Eng/IT or related field.
5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience.
Strong experience with RHEL or similar enterprise Linux environments.
Experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox and VMware vSphere.
Experience with automation/configuration tools like Ansible and Puppet.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Podman.

Responsibilities

Build, configure, maintain, patch, and upgrade Linux bare-metal servers and VMs (RHEL/Ubuntu).
Troubleshoot issues across Linux workstations, servers, VMs, storage, and network connectivity.
Administer virtualization platforms (Proxmox, VMware vSphere).
Develop/maintain automation/config management solutions (Ansible, Puppet).
Configure and maintain Linux networking, DNS, storage, and services.
Deploy/maintain container workloads with Docker/Podman; support Kubernetes environments.
