Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8-10 years of related technical experience.
• Experience with RedHat Linux 8.x/9.x administration and automation.
• Experience with Oracle WebLogic 7.x.
• Experience supporting IBM middleware stack (WebSphere) and IBM Security Verify Access 10.x.
• Experience integrating middleware with Active Directory LDAPS/LDAP.
• Advanced understanding of Apache Tomcat 9.x/10.x, Apache HTTP Server, nginx, haproxy.
• Automation and scripting (Ansible, Python, Bash).

Responsibilities

• Provide operations, maintenance, and engineering support for production, development, and test systems.
• Configure, administer, and document Linux operating systems.
• Maintain availability and integrity of Linux infrastructure and IT systems.
• Ensure connectivity and functionality of systems and applications within the enterprise.
• Suggest upgrades and optimization for future needs, including consolidation and decommissioning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by IT staff and end-users.
• Test and release changes, and monitor system performance and security posture.
• Design and implement highly available systems and services.
• Implement and maintain DISA STIG, CIS Benchmark, and NIST800.53 security baselines.
