Job summary

AMERICAN SYSTEMS in Orlando is seeking a Senior Applications Program Analyst with a Secret clearance to join our team supporting the Naval Air Warfare Training Systems Division (NAWTSD) in CSIP development, testing and delivery. This role is 100% onsite at our Orlando Office.

You will collaborate with senior engineers and customers, install and configure software on Windows and RHEL, and take ownership of CSIP integration and testing.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a BS and 5 years of experience in a System Administration role.
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• At least 1 year of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Experience configuring network interfaces in RHEL (bond, bridge, VLAN).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (QEMU, Hyper‑V, VirtualBox).
• Delivery of complex systems through the SE life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Support CSIP integration and system decisions.
• Install and configure software on RHEL and Windows.
• Own integration of new functions into CSIP.
• Coordinate updates to product baseline for new requirements.
• Prepare and deliver documentation (manuals and reports).
• Interact with senior internal and customer personnel.
• Develop user-based understanding to support integration and testing.
• Troubleshoot technical problems and propose actions.
• Explain technical subjects to leadership.
