Job summary

JWay Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer to architect and maintain enterprise infrastructure, focusing on cloud access and data security for large clients. You will lead automation projects, scale services, and deliver self-service R&D stacks.

The role requires a strong Linux background, 7+ years of experience, and hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and common automation tools. A remote-friendly, work-from-home setup is supported.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent required; Master’s preferred.
7+ years of Linux system administration with strong troubleshooting skills.
3+ years scripting in Bash/Python/Perl.
Experience scaling and operationalizing distributed data stores and services.

Responsibilities

Maintain and support existing IT infrastructure and automation tools.
Lead and implement projects for infrastructure improvement and deployments of new systems.
Balance automation needs with IT aspects to provide stable self-service R&D stacks.
Hands-on approach from task conception to completion with emerging technologies.
