Job summary

Qualcomm Innovation Center, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to drive Linux platform work for server-class CPUs. You will enable Linux distributions, packaging, and CI/CD automation to support internal and upstream readiness across major distributions.

The role emphasizes kernel/userspace bring-up, integration, and collaboration with hardware, firmware, and test teams in a fast-evolving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in relevant field with demonstrated software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience; programming in C/C++/Python as applicable.
• Strong fundamentals in CS and software engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Bring up Linux kernel and userspace on new server-class hardware.
• Build, packaging, and test workflows in CI/CD infrastructure.
• Assist in Linux distribution integration and upstream readiness.
• Debug build, packaging, and platform bring-up issues.
• Collaborate with hardware/firmware teams on platform bring-up.
