Hellbender, Inc. is looking for a highly specialized Linux Kernel Engineer to lead development and integration of device drivers for next-generation hardware platforms. You will navigate complex hardware registers and write efficient C code to transform raw silicon into functional components within the Linux kernel.

The ideal candidate possesses expert-level proficiency in C, strong experience with low-level protocols, and deep understanding of Linux kernel internals. Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience specifically in Linux kernel-space development and driver writing.
• Expert-level proficiency in C, specifically regarding kernel-space constraints.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel subsystem architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Linux device drivers.
• Lead the initial software bring-up of new hardware components.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of hardware datasheets.
