Job summary

DeNOVO Solutions, LLC in Aurora, CO seeks a highly experienced Senior Linux Infrastructure Engineer to support, secure, and evolve our Linux-based infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments.

This role leads server, network, and security management, integrates Windows systems, applies DoD-aligned hardening, documents architectures, and mentors IT staff to ensure reliability and scalability for a growing mission base.

Qualifications

• 20 years of progressive experience supporting classified and unclassified IT environments.
• 15 years of hands-on Linux experience, including administration and deployment.
• Strong Windows integration experience and cross-platform familiarity.
• Extensive networking and infrastructure technologies experience.
• 15+ years supporting DoD/IC environments.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Linux-based infrastructure across environments.
• Lead selection, deployment, and lifecycle management of servers, networks, and components.
• Maintain Linux environments and integrate Windows-based systems.
• Configure and troubleshoot servers, databases, and network devices.
• Design secure configurations to meet mission requirements.
• Implement infrastructure hardening per DoD/IC guidelines.
• Diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues across OS, network, and storage.
• Monitor health, capacity, and performance; drive improvements.
• Support upgrades, migrations, and technology refreshes.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation and standards.
• Provide senior technical guidance to leadership and engineering teams.
• Mentor IT personnel and coordinate with stakeholders to meet mission needs.
