Job summary

Evolutyz Corp is seeking experienced technology operations professionals to join our client team. The role focuses on administering enterprise Linux environments, managing Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, and automating operational tasks to ensure reliability.

Responsibilities include patching, security remediation, incident response, on-call support, and building infrastructure for new projects with Ansible and Bash scripting. Collaboration with security and infra teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5 years of Linux System Administration experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Linux server patching, security updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management and automation.
• Strong Bash scripting skills (Python is preferred).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills across operating systems, applications, and networking.
• Experience supporting enterprise production environments.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Linux environments, including RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu, and Debian.
• Perform monthly Linux server patching, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Build and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash scripting.
• Troubleshoot Linux operating system, middleware, application, and networking issues.
• Manage and support cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Information Security teams to maintain system security and compliance.
• Build, configure, and maintain infrastructure for new projects and POC environments.
• Create technical documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Participate in production support, incident response, and on-call activities as required.
• Perform day-to-day server administration and other operational tasks within the Technology Operations team.
