Job summary

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience supporting Linux environments in a production setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain EPB’s Linux environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Perform routine system monitoring and verify system integrity.
• Assist in configuration and deployment of Linux-based infrastructure.
• Support and troubleshoot server hardware and operating systems.
• Maintain and update configuration management scripts and tools.

Skills

Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS

Virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenShift)

Configuration management tools (Ansible)

Networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)

Monitoring tools (Splunk, WhatsUp Gold)

Basic scripting (Bash, Python)

Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems
