Job summary

Captivation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the engineering and sustainment of Tool's Suite in a Linux environment. This role requires a strong background in Linux systems and the ability to ensure secure credential management aligned with mission security. Candidates must also hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.

The ideal applicant will have extensive experience in software development, particularly with Python and Java, and will work closely with DevOps teams to implement best practices.

The position offers competitive compensation, including an annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $270,000, depending on experience, along with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a Top Secret/SCI U.S. Government security clearance.
• Master's degree in Computer Science plus five years of experience or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience as a Software Engineer in similar programs and contracts.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the engineering, implementation, integration, and sustainment of the project Tool's Suite in a Linux environment.
• Ensure secure credential management, privileged access controls, and automation capabilities.
• Collaborate closely with security, infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
