Job summary

COMSO, Inc. is seeking an IT Engineer II to support a next-generation collaboration capability in a secure, mission-critical environment for the Intelligence Community. The role focuses on Linux administration, container infrastructure, and integration of COTS software within multi-domain security confines.

You’ll work with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable mission capabilities, implement security hardening, and sustain containerized workloads across security domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 12 years of IT experience, Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience, or 16 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Strong Red Hat Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with Linux security hardening, patching, OS upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting containerized applications and container infrastructure in enterprise or production environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform Linux system administration in enterprise and mission-critical environments.
• Deploy, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot containerized applications and workloads.
• Support container infrastructure, including images, registries, networking, storage, deployment, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.
• Troubleshoot issues across the infrastructure stack—from hardware to applications, including security and performance.
