Job summary

Intrepid seeks a Senior Linux Administrator to support the IFMC Program Office, AMD Mission Command Product Office. You will ensure reliable operation of computer systems, work with end users to meet needs, and maintain performance and security in a national-security environment.

Responsibilities include log analysis, patching, and configuration management in Linux environments, along with ATO support and documentation. A SECRET clearance is required and ongoing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics engineering, or computer engineering
• 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• 5+ years of experience configuring, administering, and maintaining Linux systems
• Current Security+ and either Linux+ or RedHat certifications
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, 9 and/or 10 experience
• Experience in physical and/or virtual machine environments
• Basic network knowledge
• Active SECRET security clearance (must maintain)

Responsibilities

• Analyze system logs and identify potential issues
• Apply OS updates, patches, and configuration changes
• Install and configure hardware and software
• Manage user accounts and passwords
• Maintain system security and document configurations
• Troubleshoot anomalies and train personnel
• Support Approval to Operate (ATO) requirements
