Avion Hospitality seeks a Cook II to supervise and assist in preparing all food items for the Restaurant/Dining Outlet, Cafe, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, maintaining high quality and appealing presentation. You will coordinate on-line kitchen work, ensure recipes are followed, and uphold sanitation standards.

Requirements include 5+ years in a kitchen with supervisory duties or a culinary degree with 1+ year experience, plus Food Handlers Certification.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related progressive kitchen experience or a culinary graduate with 1+ year in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification (state requirements) must be current.
• Ability to convey information clearly and work under pressure.
• Ability to evaluate and select among actions quickly and accurately.
• Willingness to supervise on kitchen line and assist in multiple stations.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and assist in food preparation for Restaurant/Dining Outlet, Cafe, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets.
• Assist and supervise on kitchen line during operating hours to maintain high standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared following Avion Hospitality standard recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and cleaning schedules; keep storage areas neat.
• Assist in training staff in operation and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
• Attend management meetings and perform other duties as requested.
