Role Overview

Join a team of analysts working on multiple LIMS and web portals. You will be part of a project to replace the Starlims LIMS (LPH version) for our environmental and clinical users.

Responsibilities

• Involved in application discovery, training, requirements gathering, and QA testing.
• Assist in StarLIMS configuration validation, test case development, and quality assurance activities.
• Create documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs.
• Elicit and document business requirements through techniques such as interviews and workshops.
• Analyze laboratory processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Engage stakeholders to understand needs, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Analyze data to provide insights and support decision‑making processes.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and user stories.
• Demonstrate analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Use software products including Word, Excel, Visio, and DevOps.

Qualifications

• Experience in a laboratory environment or in supporting laboratory systems.
• Familiarity with System Development Life Cycle methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Laboratory testing experience and/or experience with LIMS implementation.
• Experience with Starlims LPH preferred.
