Job summary

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland, OR seeks a Lead Electrician to lead a skilled Lighting team through hangs, programming, and maintenance in a safe, collaborative environment.

You’ll need 5+ years of theatrical lighting experience with crew leadership, strong ETC EOS and Lightwright knowledge, and the ability to supervise staff while ensuring high-quality production support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional theatrical lighting experience, with crew leadership.
• 2+ years of staff supervision experience.
• Expert knowledge of conventional and automated lighting equipment.
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead hangs, focuses, strikes, and lighting installations for productions.
• Program and operate ETC EOS Family consoles; support during tech rehearsals.
• Oversee rigging, lighting, video, and specialty installations.
• Train and supervise Lighting Department staff.
• Maintain equipment, drawings, SOPs, and changeover procedures.
• Collaborate with Lighting Designers and Production teams.
