Job summary

Acuity Inc. in New York City is seeking a Sales Representative to drive demand for our electronics portfolio across the NYC metro market. You will influence specifications, guide customers through the sales lifecycle, and translate complex solutions into clear value.

The role requires strong technical aptitude, disciplined opportunity development, and the ability to operate in a hybrid on-site/office environment. Travel is required to cover projects across the NYC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5–7 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of the lighting and/or controls business is preferred.
• Overnight travel required; travel percentage depends on geographic needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with NYC specifiers and contractors to reinforce our value proposition.
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities in the NYC metro market and support pricing strategies.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support controls-driven projects that span territories and ensure continuity.
