The Montrose Recreation District is seeking a Lead Lifeguard to supervise a busy public pool, enforce regulations, assist swimmers in distress, and provide emergency and routine first aid. You will lead lifeguards on duty and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming pool environment.

Responsibilities include scheduling, zone coverage, safety checks, incident reporting, and staff training. Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts apply; benefits include free membership and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• 2 years lifeguard experience, preferred.
• Ability to discern between life-threatening and non-life-threatening emergencies; follow ARC procedures.

Responsabilités

• Maintains constant watch over patrons and assists those in distress.
• Enforces pool rules and safety regulations.
• Administers first aid when necessary.
• Performs safety checks and maintains first aid supplies.
• Completes daily operation and maintenance reports.
• Lead on duty during emergencies and coordinate lifeguard rotations.
