Come grow with us!Torch Technologies Inc. is seeking a highly seasoned **Senior Lifecycle Sustainment Manager** to direct large‐scale defense acquisition, missile modernization, and aviation capability life cycle development and sustainment efforts across complex, multi‐stakeholder environments. This role oversees high‐priority modernization initiatives, portfolio execution, and enterprise‐level coordination with senior Army stakeholders, contracting organizations, program offices, and defense industry partners. As a senior leader within Torch’s strategic defense organization, the Senior Lifecycle Sustainment Manager drives strategic modernization planning, cross‐functional integration, solution development, and executive engagement supporting critical U.S. and partner missions across aviation and missile enterprise domains. **Duties & Responsibilities:**• Lead strategic planning, acquisition integration, and modernization execution for assigned major missile and aviation programs, including multifaceted portfolios. • Direct multidisciplinary teams responsible for engineering, logistics, transportation, sustainment, training, operational planning, and stakeholder alignment. • Serve as a senior technical and strategic advisor to enterprise leadership, providing guidance on modernization strategies, readiness planning, capability development, and lifecycle sustainment.•Oversee assigned program performance, operational transitions, maintenance operations, and readiness objectives across diverse aviation and missile system portfolios. • Provide executive level engagement with Army organizations, contracting commands, program executive offices, and defense industry leadership on authorized company initiatives and consistent with applicable post-government employment requirements.• Coordinate modernization and sustainment activities for assigned major missile and aviation platforms including HIMARS, Hellfire, Javelin, TOW, Apache, Black Hawk, Chinook, and related weapon and aviation systems. • Guide development of modernization initiatives, planning documents, engineering integrations, and program execution strategies aligned with enterprise goals. • Support major congressional notifications and high‐visibility program actions requiring senior level alignment and synchronized communication within authorized areas of responsibility. • Mentor program managers and project leads, strengthening discipline, acquisition practices, and modernization execution across the organization. • Maintain accurate metrics, documentation, planning artifacts, and executive reporting supporting enterprise decision‐making. **Qualifications:*****Minimum Requirements:*** • US Citizenship. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master of Business Administration (MBA) strongly preferred. • 25+ years of experience in defense acquisition, aviation and missile program management, or senior‐level military modernization roles. • Proven leadership directing complex aviation and missile portfolios, including large‐scale modernization, sustainment, and readiness initiatives. • Extensive experience coordinating across Army program offices, contracting organizations, engineering agencies, and senior leadership. • Ability to lead cross‐functional teams and influence executive decision‐making in dynamic operational and acquisition environments.• Must have an active secret clearance.**Schedule:** M-F; 8-5**Work Location:** Customer- site: No telework option available**Travel:** Yes, 20%**Relocation Assistance Available:** No**Position Contingent Upon Award of Contract:** No#LI-TS1 **Benefits:**Torch Technologies is proud to offer a stable and professional work environment, a competitive salary, and an excellent, comprehensive benefit package including: ESOP participation, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, flexible spending accounts, Health Saving Accounts and Health Reimbursement Accounts, EAP, education assistance, paid time off, and holidays.**Applying to Torch Technologies:**Only those candidates invited for an interview will be contacted.
