Clayco / LJC Design & Engineering seeks an experienced Project Architect for its Life Sciences practice. You will lead architectural design for regulated facilities, focusing on pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing environments, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams from planning through construction.

The role requires 7+ years of architectural experience, a licensed architecture credential, and deep knowledge of regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of architectural experience focused on life sciences and regulated facilities.
• Licensed Architect with degree in Architecture and active license.
• Strong understanding of cGMP, FDA, EU guidelines and ISO cleanroom standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and technical execution of life sciences manufacturing projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction partners.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure design quality and compliance.
