Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Life Sciences manufacturing professional to design, build, test, and deploy digital solutions for regulated plant operations. You will connect production, quality, lab, engineering, and supply chain needs with deployable technology and AI-enabled workflows.

You will own technical deliverables, resolve issues, and translate shop-floor observations into design and test requirements, collaborating with operators, IT/OT teams, and data specialists.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, manufacturing, information systems, computer science, supply chain, or a related discipline.
• Experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, manufacturing systems, automation, or related field.
• Experience with regulated environments (pharma/biotech/medical device).
• Delivery artifacts such as requirements, process maps, data mappings, interface specs, and deployment materials.
• Collaboration with operational stakeholders and technical delivery teams.
• Ability to travel as needed; travel can range from 80‑100%.

Responsibilities

• Assess workflows, user needs, interfaces, data points, and pain points through observations and interviews.
• Document process flows, requirements, data mappings, interfaces, controls, and acceptance criteria.
• Support design and implementation of MES/MOM, eDHRs, batch/genelogy, and reporting capabilities.
• Trace data across MES/ERP/LIMS/QMS/SCADA and identify data gaps and integration dependencies.
• Configure or prototype components and document design decisions for review.
• Prepare functional and integration test scripts and maintain traceability to requirements.
• Support deployment readiness, user training, and handover with technical docs.
