Norstella is seeking a Senior Life Sciences Analyst for AI Model Training. The role sits at the intersection of clinical expertise and applied AI, coordinating with data scientists and engineers to calibrate model outputs for quality and clinical reasoning.

You will help define evaluation standards, support client engagement, and drive improvements across model development and deployment with a focus on practical, actionable analytics.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in life sciences, medical sciences, computer science or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of professional experience with production-grade life science datasets and AI-enabled applications.
• Experience with structured publishing platforms and data tools; comfort with automation concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate model outputs across clinical, regulatory, and life sciences tasks by rating responses and ranking outputs.
• Define and maintain evaluation rubrics, dimensions, and quality criteria for model outputs.
• Act as expert-in-the-loop for life science models with clients, including ongoing support.
• Advise on interpretation of model behavior and adjust data flows with relevant teams.
• Collaborate with data scientists to incorporate feedback into data collection pipelines.
• Conduct red-team and adversarial evaluation to surface subtle failure modes.
