Job summary

Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC seeks a Senior Business Process Outsourcing professional to plan and supervise engagements. You will review workpapers, statements, and reconciliations while coordinating with client management to implement improvements. This role emphasizes Excel-driven analysis and strong client service.

The ideal candidate has 3–4 years as a senior accountant in a BPO or external accounting setting, with robust MS Excel skills and a proactive, dependable work ethic.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting is required.
• Three - Four years experience as senior accountant including in a BPO practice or with an external accounting service provider.
• Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent client service
• Demonstrated project management, interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple engagements within deadlines.
• Self-motivated, dependable and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise assigned engagements.
• Acquire knowledge of the client’s business and processes.
• Review all workpapers for accuracy and completeness, including notes.
• Review financial statements for accuracy and disclosures.
• Analyze balance sheet accounts and prepare reconciliations.
• Post cash transactions daily and ensure cash reconciliations are timely.
• Conduct periodic internal audits to ensure internal controls.
• Interact with client management to gather information and recommend improvements.
• Contribute to staff development and prepare staff evaluations.
