Job summary

Eventide Fargo Care Center in south Fargo, ND is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator to work full time 8:30a - 5p, Monday through Friday. Includes every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and holiday rotation.

The Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator will assist in the implementation of activity programs that stimulate residents/tenants physically, mentally and socially to increase their quality of life. Activities must follow standards determined by state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required; post secondary education preferred.
Experience in long term care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate resident activities programs for varying levels of physical and mental abilities.
Develop rapport with residents and families to understand needs and interests.
Maintain records on each resident including attendance, goals, and notes.
Attend care conferences to determine care plan needs and document assessments.
Provide leadership for assigned activities and events.
Recommend alternative programs to the Director of Life Enrichment when changes are needed.
Promptly answer resident call lights.
