Job summary

Pennoni Associates – Berryville, VA is seeking a Licensed Surveyor to perform complex survey calculations, analyze data for maps and plats, and prepare client deliverables. You will mentor survey analysts and coordinate with Civil Design PMs to ensure QC and timely project completion.

Requirements include 2–5 years post-registration in VA (DC/WV helpful), proficiency with Carlson Land Surveying and Civil 3D, and a track record on public and private projects.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years post-registration as a Licensed Land Surveyor in VA; WV/DC licenses helpful.
• Thorough knowledge of land surveying principles and practices.
• Proficient with Carlson Land Surveying and Civil 3D; three years’ experience.
• Experience on ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys and both public/private projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex survey/geomatics calculations and prepare maps, plats, right-of-way.
• Coordinate and assist in project estimates and schedules.
• Analyze deeds, title reports, and research materials for maps/reports.
• Lead field notes review and QC before survey product submission.
• Mentor survey analysts and technicians; work with multiple PMs.
• Prepare client deliverables and expand the Land Surveying base.
