Job summary

Spectrum Health Systems is seeking a Senior Clinician for the Millbury outpatient program. You will oversee clinical/educational operations and provide documented individual and group counseling plus case management to clients with mental health, substance use, or dual diagnoses.

The role requires a master’s degree in a relevant field and licensure (LICSW/LCSW/LMHC/LADC I/CADAC preferred), with at least two years of supervised counseling and one year in a supervisory role.

Qualifications

• Licensed LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LADC I or CADAC preferred.
• Master’s degree in clinical psychology, education-counseling, medicine, psychology, psychiatric nursing, rehabilitative counseling, social work, or closely related field.
• Minimum of two years of supervised counseling experience.
• At least one-year full time equivalent year of clinical experience in a supervisory role.
• Experience with both substance abuse and mental health issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• The clinical/educational operations of the program services.
• Providing documented individual and group clinical services and case management to clients with mental health, substance abuse, or dual diagnosis problems.
• Completing Quality Improvement activities such as completing chart reviews and group observations.
• Participating in the review of high-risk cases including multidisciplinary team treatment planning, case review and case conferences.
• Working the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.
