Job summary

State of Hawaii, Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Oahu Community Correctional Center seeks a highly capable library support worker to manage ordering, cataloging basics, and scheduling law library sessions for inmates.

You will train subordinates, volunteers, and inmate work crews, supervise their tasks, and perform complex library support duties, including processing orders and maintaining library materials.

Qualifications

• One year of clerical work experience demonstrating spelling and arithmetic accuracy.
• Two years of library support experience including basic cataloging and order processing.
• Familiarity with library terminology, formats, and standard reference sources.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate ordering and monitor library materials for law and recreational use.
• Schedule inmates for law library sessions and supervise inmate work lines.
