Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Library Science or related program from an ALA accredited graduate school.
• Three years of library experience.
• Graduate degree from ALA accredited MLS or MLIS program (preferred).
• Experience in public library services is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and manages the department or services assigned.
• Oversees operations of the library facility and staff.
• Implements collection development policy.
• Provides reference services to patrons of all ages.
• Delivers community classes and presentations.
• Plans, assigns and reviews work of staff; provides staff development.
