Job summary

Shield AI is hiring a Senior or Staff Liaison Engineer to be the engineering point of contact for hardware issues affecting V-BAT production, testing and fielded aircraft. This role owns NCR/MRB dispositions and coordinates cross-functional input from Structures, Thermal and Design.

The ideal candidate provides end-to-end disposition, rework or repair instructions, drawing updates, and long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Composite repair experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience owning NCR/MRB dispositions and related documentation.
• Composite repair experience is essential for sustaining aircraft hardware.
• Ability to lead disposition from start to finish including rework instructions and drawings.
• Acts as a liaison between Production and Quality and other engineering groups.

Responsibilities

• Serve as engineering point of contact for hardware issues affecting V-BAT production, testing, and fielded aircraft.
• Own the disposition, rework or repair instructions, and updating drawings.
• Coordinate with Structures, Thermal and Design for specialist input when needed.
• Drive long-term corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
