Job summary

Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan LLP is seeking a Senior General Liability/Construction Litigation Associate/Partner to handle cases independently, oversee associates, and conduct trials. The role emphasizes strong writing, client interaction, and leadership within the General Liability team.

Qualifications

• Admission to practice in New York.
• Experience in personal injury litigation or comparable experience.
• Familiarity with New York Labor Law a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop litigation strategy for defense of general liability actions.
• Draft and review pleadings, discovery, memos, briefs and other litigation documents.
• Represent clients in court.
• Participate in depositions, conferences and hearings.
• Conduct trials.
• Interact with medical experts.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft motions.
• Work cooperatively with others and interact with clients.
