Job summary

CorVel is a national provider of risk management solutions for workers' compensation, auto, health and disability management. The Senior Liability Claims Specialist will manage mid to complex Auto and General Liability claims, including bodily injury and property damage, with delegated authority and adherence to company best practices.

This remote role offers the opportunity to investigate claims, establish reserves, communicate with clients and claimants, and collaborate with teams to resolve

Qualifications

• Five or more years’ General Liability claims handling experience including high exposure or litigated claims.
• Two or more years’ Auto Liability claims handling experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Current Adjuster’s License in the operating state is required; multi-state license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives claims, confirms policy coverage and acknowledgment of the claim.
• Determines validity and compensability of the claim.
• Investigates Auto and/or General Liability claims.
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments within licensing limits.
• Communicates claim status with customer, claimant, and client.
• Adheres to client/carrier guidelines and participates in claims reviews.
• Collaborates with team on complex or problematic claims.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
