Job summary

Cannon Cochran Management Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Claim Consultant to join our National Liability team in a fully remote role.

The position handles auto liability, municipal exposures, and general liability claims across jurisdictions, requiring independent portfolio management and high service standards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of multi-line claims experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a Home State Adjusters License.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims while ensuring compliance with client requirements, jurisdictional regulations, and CCMSI claim handling standards.
  • Manage a portfolio of auto liability, municipal liability, and general liability claims from assignment through resolution.
  • Analyze coverage, liability, damages, and exposure to establish appropriate reserves and develop effective claim resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate and direct litigation management activities, partnering with defense counsel and vendors to drive favorable claim outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, claimants, attorneys, vendors, and other stakeholders to provide claim status updates and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Negotiate settlements, review invoices and legal expenses, authorize payments within designated authority levels, and pursue subrogation opportunities when appropriate.
  • Prepare claim reports, reserve analyses, and client communications that support informed decision-making and service excellence.
  • Participate in claim reviews, training discussions, mediations, hearings, and other claim-related proceedings as needed.

Job Summary

CCMSI is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Claim Consultant to join our National Liability team. This remote position is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving complex multi-line casualty claims involving auto liability, municipal exposures, and general liability claims across multiple jurisdictions. The ideal candidate brings strong technical claim handling expertise, litigation management experience, client relationship skills, and the ability to independently manage a diverse portfolio while maintaining high service standards and claim quality.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
  • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line liability claims while ensuring compliance with client requirements, jurisdictional regulations, and CCMSI claim handling standards.

  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Home State Adjusters License is required.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience handling Auto Liability claims.
  • Experience handling General Liability claims.
  • Experience handling Municipal Liability claims.
  • Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience working within a TPA environment.
  • Experience supporting multiple client accounts.

Bilingual (Spanish) proficiency — highly valued for communicating with claimants, employers, or vendors, but not required.

Actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
