Job summary

American Modern Insurance Group, Inc., a Munich Re company, is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Adjuster to manage moderate to complex bodily injury and liability claims. You will evaluate coverage, liability and damages, and negotiate settlements with individuals, attorneys, and carriers.

Hybrid work environment with opportunities for career growth within Munich Re's Global Specialty division; multiple levels may be considered based on experience.

Qualifications

• Three or more years managing Liability Bodily Injury claims.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience using claims systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Interpret coverage, conduct investigations, and interview insureds and claimants.
• Negotiate settlements with insureds, other carriers, and attorneys.
• Prepare reports and document file activity.
• Identify regulatory and internal compliance requirements for claims.
• Set and maintain reserves on claim files.
