Apave America Inc. is seeking an experienced Level II Eddy Current Technician to support operations in the St. Paul, Minnesota area.

The role requires ASNT Level II ECT certification and hands-on testing of metal tubes, with a focus on detecting defects and preparing detailed inspection reports. The candidate should be able to set up and calibrate eddy current equipment, interpret signal responses, and document findings with precision.

Qualifications

• ASNT Level II Eddy Current Certification required.
• Hands-on ET inspections with tubes using eddy current probes.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to produce detailed inspection reports with findings and location.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to work varying schedules.
• Additional NDT certs (UT, MT, PT, RT) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform ET inspections inserting probes into tubes and scanning entire length to detect defects.
• Calibrate, set up, and operate eddy current equipment per procedures.
• Identify and classify flaws such as pits, cracks, and wall thinning.
• Document findings with locations and severity per standards.
