Job summary

ForceShield is seeking a highly skilled Senior Level Developer to join our team in Washington on a contract basis. In this role, you will design, code, and test complex software solutions and mentor junior developers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with strong proficiency in Java, C++, or Python. We provide accommodation and visa sponsorship for eligible candidates.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Level Developer to join our team on a contract basis in Washington. As a senior level developer you will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing complex software solutions, as well as mentoring junior developers and providing technical guidance to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications according to project requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical support when needed.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them where relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software developer, preferably at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: $1500 per month, negotiable based on experience.
