Celestar Corporation is seeking a Senior-level Data Scientist (IT Architecture Specialist- Plans Support) supporting the United States Central Command (USCENTCOM) Directorate of Intelligence (J2) located at MacDill AFB in Tampa, Florida and at various other locations throughout CONUS/OCONUS and the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).

Responsibilities include:

  1. Providing IT Architecture support for designing objective systems architecture and integrating intelligence applications and communications to enable effective solutions for USCENTCOM and theater components in support of USCENTCOM Planning Efforts.
  2. Developing Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) derived operational (OV-1 through OV-4) and system (SV-1 through SV-4) architecture views for each assigned intelligence IT system project.
  3. Creating technical intelligence operational and system architecture drawings, sketches, documents, and professional slides, diagrams, and supporting documents from highly technical systems architecture drawings and concepts.
  4. Conducting extensive research on IT systems, applications, and hardware solutions to identify existing or new capabilities for building independent or integrated end-to-end solutions.
  5. Analyzing, recommending, and resolving IT issues for USCENTCOM J2 specialty IT areas.
  6. Developing and preparing IT project documents such as Microsoft Project Plans, Charter, CONOPS, and status reports with established requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
  7. Documenting, reporting, and following up on attendance at meetings, teleconferences, conferences, and events related to USCENTCOM J2 IT systems, architecture, and projects.
  8. Engaging and coordinating with USCENTCOM Directorates, Divisions, Component Commands, and other IC-related organizations to fully coordinate IT system-related intelligence requirements and deployments.
  9. Engineering, developing, and creating solutions and defining hardware/software requirements for USCENTCOM J2 IT system issues, documenting via Engineering Design Diagrams, System Configuration, SOMD, and C&A documentation.
  10. Drafting a Systems and Architecture Appendix to support USCENTCOM plans/orders.

Required Experience: Minimum 12 years related to the specific labor category with recent experience within the last 2 years.

Desired Education: Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited university, or a Bachelor’s degree with an additional 5 years of senior experience to total 17 years.
