Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with track record in independent research and development.
• Experience planning, leading, and delivering technical products with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical analyses in shock physics, hydro-structural interactions, and lethality evaluations.
• Provide direction for modeling, simulation, test, and analysis activities for national defense needs.
• Develop workflows and post-processing tools to evaluate results from simulations and tests.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage cost, schedule, and deliverables.
• Create briefings, reports, and technical recommendations for customers and leadership.
• Mentor early-career staff and help grow departmental capabilities in threat engineering.
