Job summary

Intuit’s Lending Data Science team seeks a Sr. Staff Data Scientist to lead analytics strategy across Lending Marketplace and partnerships. You’ll drive insights that influence product and lending decisions, and set the analytical framework used by multiple teams.

Applicants should bring deep expertise in predictive and prescriptive modeling, causal inference, and scalable experimentation. A track record of mentoring teams and delivering business impact is essential.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in data science and analytics, driving strategy and impact across multiple initiatives or business units.
• Proven ability to apply first-principles thinking to translate business strategy into analytical problems at the business-unit level.
• Experience designing and interpreting complex experiments beyond traditional A/B testing, with causal inference when experimentation is constrained.

Responsibilities

• Set analytics strategy across initiatives in Lending Marketplace and partnerships/externalization.
• Influence senior leadership across Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design.
• Advance science by identifying and adapting ML and causal inference methods for lending use cases, creating reusable frameworks.
