Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation in the United States seeks a Principal Application Specialist - Lending, the most senior application support role and team leader for the IT loan application support team. You will ensure day-to-day operations, support change management, testing, and integration for loan systems.

You will mentor staff, own application roadmaps, lead acquisition/conversion activities, and collaborate with business units, technology teams, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years working in a banking or financial services environment with special emphasis on applications implementation, testing, maintenance, configuration, and support.
• Minimum of 5 years of recent management experience.
• Experience building complex workflows and business process maps.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day workflow and Level 3 support for complex issues.
• Lead acquisition and conversion activities including data mapping and system implementations.
• Support process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
• System tuning and optimization.
• Lead change management and product/project implementations.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and training, and develop best-practice processes.
