IRS NHQ seeks a seasoned professional to lead legislative and regulatory affairs. The role requires directing high-visibility tax and policy initiatives, advising senior leaders, and coordinating congressional responses. You will guide executive communications and supervise staff on complex legal matters.

Ability to work with Congress and manage multidisciplinary teams is essential. Federal experience in public policy and strong analytical skills are highly valued for strategic recommendations.

Competenze

• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-14.
• Experience supervising professional staff in tax law, legislative affairs, or public policy.
• Experience advising senior executives and government officials on complex tax or regulatory matters.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on legislative, tax administration, or regulatory initiatives.
• Experience coordinating legislative affairs and responses to congressional inquiries.
• Experience reviewing executive-level written products on complex issues.
• Experience working with Congress, including congressional offices or staff.
• Experience managing high-priority assignments with deadlines.
